OUR MISSION Visitors Guide Publications is dedicated to producing high-quality tourism-related publications with the intent of generating a stronger economic base for the communities we serve. We recognize that in these days when other local resource-based industries are facing serious cutbacks, tourism is a viable, clean and ecologically sustainable resource which will provide indefinite economic stability.

Visitors Guide Publications began as a small graphic design firm in 1987 whose primary clients included the Bellingham/Whatcom County Convention & Visitors Bureau and several of the area's hotel properties. Their creation and design of the Bellingham Visitors Guide caught state-wide attention at the 1993 State Tourism Conference. The requests that came in from tourism directors of other western Washington communities as a result of this exposure created a shift in emphasis which has resulted in the addition of four more annual visitors guides.

In addition to the Bellingham/ Whatcom County Visitors Guide, they produce guides for Grays Harbor County, Snohomish County, and the Kitsap Peninsula making Visitors Guide Publications one of the leading publishers of tourist-related guides in the state of Washington. In 1998, they received the contract to produce the official Relocation Guide to Bellingham & Whatcom County.
